On the left is one of my Platoon Leaders, Lt. Cartwright. We were all so young then, fighting a "Grown Man's War". Young men make better soldiers than older men do. They ask fewer questions.
The other pictures show us doing a little "reconnaissance by fire", using 40 mm. grenade launchers. The soldier in the middle picture has perfect form for firing that weapon.
